What We Collect
Jump Street Distribution collects information you submit through our website to evaluate partnership opportunities, provide services, and communicate with artists, labels, and creative professionals.
- Contact information (name, email, phone)
- Professional details (artist name, entity type, location)
- Music-related metadata (catalog size, genre, release information)
- Optional legal and rights information (IPI, PRO registration, ISRC, UPC — where applicable)
- Social and platform presence (Spotify, Audiomack, Instagram, TikTok)
- Budget and campaign signals (voluntarily provided)
We also automatically record basic technical data (IP address, browser type, submission timestamp) for security and fraud prevention purposes only.
How We Use It
- Review submissions and evaluate service fit
- Communicate partnership and placement opportunities
- Operate distribution, promotion, and education services
- Improve our programs and intake processes
- Detect spam, fraud, misrepresentation, and duplicate submissions
- Maintain internal audit logs for data governance
What We Don't Do
Data Protection
We apply industry-standard security practices to protect submitted information and limit access internally. This includes role-based access control (RBAC), where different team members are permitted to see only the data necessary for their specific function. Legal identifiers, dates of birth, and contract-level data are restricted to director-level access only.
No shared logins are used for internal systems. All data access events are logged and timestamped.
Internal Access Levels
Access to your data within JSD is governed by four internal roles. Super Admin (Director level) has full oversight. Admin / Operations manages intake review and routing but cannot access legal identifiers. Reviewers see only their assigned submissions and cannot download or export anything. Marketing sees only non-sensitive engagement data — artist names, genres, social handles, and consent status — never legal names, dates of birth, contracts, or financial information.
Your Rights
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for data processing (without affecting prior lawful processing)

Data Retention
- Rejected submissions — retained for 12 months, then deleted
- Community leads — retained for 24 months from last contact
- Active partners — retained for duration of relationship + 24 months post-termination
- Deletion requests — honored within 30 days of written request
Cookies & Tracking
Our website does not use advertising tracking cookies or third-party analytics beyond what is included by Cloudflare Turnstile (our spam prevention tool). Session storage is used locally in your browser to preserve form state and theme preferences. This data does not leave your device.
Security
We implement technical and organisational security measures including HTTPS-only form submissions, rate limiting per IP and per form, honeypot anti-spam fields, server-side input validation, and access-controlled data storage. Breach & Misuse Response
In the event of a data breach or misuse incident, JSD will immediately suspend the affected access, conduct an internal audit within 24 hours, notify affected parties if their data was involved, and implement corrective controls before any access reinstatement. Third-Party Services
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile for human verification. This service processes your interaction data under Cloudflare's own Privacy Policy. We do not control Cloudflare's data practices. No other third-party scripts are included on this website for tracking or advertising purposes.
Children
Our services are not directed at persons under 13. The JSD Academy requires age confirmation at enrollment. If you are between 13 and 18, parental or guardian consent is required before submitting any personal information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy at any time. Changes will be reflected by a revised effective date. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
